The elementary school where we meet has planned a 3-day outdoor educational trip to Catalina in late January for the 5th graders. However, the school estimates that approximately 26 of 70 students will need to be sponsored to be able to attend the trip, and the cost per student is $260. We're looking to make a dent in that number as a church and hoping you'd be willing to donate! If you'd like, you can do so through our website (under "GIVE"), but PLEASE include the note "Micheltorena Catalina Trip" when making your donation! We'll be collecting funds between now and the end of the year. Thank you for helping us be a positive presence in our community!

First Anniversary Service: We'll be celebrating the one year anniversary of the launch of weekly worship at Missio Dei. Among other things, we'll hear stories of how God has been at work and share LUNCH together afterward. We hope you'll all join us and invite others to join us as well!

Our Community Lunches are opportunities to connect with one another over a shared meal. Our next Community Lunch will feature BBQ from City Catering! Their mission is to serve the city of Compton by providing job training and mentorship to youth (and to provide amazing food!) The cost for this good cause and delicious food will be $10/adult and $7/child (12 and under.) We hope you will join us!
